Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while respecting the commitments we make with our local partners across Morocco. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
Deposit & Payment
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required. This deposit is generally non-refundable, as it secures accommodations, transport, and services in advance.
The remaining balance is due no later than 45 days before arrival. For bookings made within 45 days, full payment is required at confirmation.
Cancellation by the Traveler
If you cancel your tour more than 61 days before arrival, you will forfeit only the 30% deposit, and the remaining balance will be refunded in full.
If you cancel between 60 and 46 days before arrival, 50% of the total tour cost will be refunded.
If you cancel between 45 and 31 days before arrival, 25% of the total tour cost will be refunded.
If you cancel 30 days or less before arrival, cancellations are non-refundable due to commitments with our partners.
These cancellation conditions reflect the policies of our partners, including hotels and desert camps, which often apply strict penalties as the travel date approaches.
Cancellation by Memento Morocco
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to safety concerns, political unrest, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of all payments made or the option to reschedule your trip for a later date.
Force Majeure
In the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances that prevent travel, we will review each situation individually and provide refunds where possible, minus any unrecoverable costs from our suppliers.
No-Shows & Unused Services
No refunds will be given for no-shows, unused portions of the tour, or unused accommodations, meals, or activities. This includes late arrivals or early departures for any reason.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 10–14 business days using the original payment method and currency. Bank transfer and payment processing fees are non-refundable.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal belongings. We cannot be held responsible for costs related to illness, delays, or unforeseen travel disruptions.
